For instance, practice the place command by using multiple mats around the house. Send your dog from one to the other in a game I like to call “find place.”
Work on indoor recalls by leaving your dog in one room and calling “come” from another. You can even try to hide to make it more challenging.
An indoor game of tug will burn off some energy when you combine it with an absolute “leave it” followed by a “sit” or “place” to win the toy back again.
