Super Dog School welcomes Kai! This is Portuguese water dog Kai. He’s just 3 months old and needs an outlet for all his puppy energy. He uses his teeth on everyone and everything. He gets bored quickly and finds things to get into. But he’s also really clever and is already having a great time with the training. At this age, we are using his food to help him understand Sit, Down, Stand, Place and Come. What his family needs to realize is that ALL interactions with Kai are training him something. So it’s very important not to inadvertently teach the wrong things. Petting at the wrong time, such as when his feet are up, or allowing his teeth on hands are some of the things everyone need to watch. He’ll also learn to be comfortable in a crate and respect other barriers.
